Awesome Dog Surprises Cop Who Freed Him From Fence

Police officer Nick Shepherd had been called out to help free a dog which had become tangled in a wire fence on a residential street in Plattsburg, Mo. As you can see from the clip, which was shot by a camera mounted in his police radio, the unfortunate pooch had got himself in quite a pickle.
The dog was hanging nearly upside-down and clearly in distress until the officer took a set of wire cutters to the fence and snipped it free.
The dog, quite reasonably, didn't want to hang around and quickly ran off to ponder his morning. Wanting to check he had not injured him, dog-lover Shepherd set off after it -- but when he got to the front of the house he couldn't believe what he saw.
Speaking to colleagues via the radio cam -- and we apologize for his colorful language but we're sure you'll understand -- he said: "Holy sh**, you got to be kiddin'. Hey guys, I know this is probably not the best thing ever but check out this video ..."
