Cautionary Tale

Long story short, some punk stole threewords.me creator Mark Bao’s laptop a couple months back.

This past Friday, Bao managed to access his lifted laptop’s browser history remotely. He stumbled on some Photo Booth photos the perp snapped of himself, to which Bao quipped on Twitter: “Wow. The first thing that MacBook thieves do REALLY IS take pictures on Photo Booth. I didn’t think they were that dumb.”

Then he struck the mother lode: A video of the thief dancing to Travis Porter’s “Make It Rain” which Bao promptly uploaded to YouTube (see above).

Commenting on the story in a Reddit thread, Bao said the criminal mastermind turned himself in this morning and sent him “a heartfelt message” asking to have the video removed. “Which I’m not going to do,” says Bao. “He’s not in a position to bargain.”
