Did You Know....? - Just One of Those Days


In 1971, an object exhibited at a South Shields museum as a Roman coin was revealed to be a plastic token given away free by a soft drinks firms. The error was pointed out by a nine-year-old schoolgirl. The "R" which the museum had thought meant "Roma" in fact stood for "Robinsons".
