Answering the Unanswerable
As a rather creative promotional event, Ask Jeeves today launched a website asking visitors to ponder the "10 unanswerable questions." We enjoyed the list so much that we decided to answer them all. You're welcome. (via The Guardian)

How Long Will I Live?
Probably not that long.
If you live in the U.S. the World Bank says you’ll live to be 78.4 (on average), but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the average life expectancy for Americans is 77.9 years. But apparently your best shot for living a longer life is to be from another country. The U.S. ranks #49 on the CIA’s World Factbook’s list of life expectancy by country. Macau wins the long-life race with a life expectancy of 84.36 years. Followed by Andorra (82.51 years), Japan (82.12 years) and Singapore (81.98 years).
Still, when it comes to your own personal life expectancy there are several life expectancy calculators online. From MSN’s Money Central to The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, many websites try to calculate how long you will live by taking into account factors such as your personality, health history, family background, diet and lifestyle. One such model, aptly titled Living to 100, is from Thomas Perls, a geriatrician at the Boston University Medical School. Perls used his study of some 900 centenarians, people who have lived to 100 years (and beyond), to influence his calculator’s predictions.
Did Tony Soprano Die?

(Oh, screw it. Yeah, he died.)

What is Love?
Really? That’s your question? Or wait, are you searching for the lyrics to the Haddaway song made popular by the Saturday Night Live skit and subsequent movie Night at the Roxbury? Yes? Here they are: "What is love / Oh baby, don't hurt me / Don't hurt me….no more."
