Credit Where Crerdit is Due


There’s only been one full day of the Game Developers Conference, currently going down in San Francisco, but there’s already a scandal!
At the “Angry Birds – An Entertainment Franchise in the Making” panel headed by Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka, open source developer Erin Catto stood up and demanded credit for the Box 2D physics engine that enables the game. He’s not asking for money, just glory. Rovio responded with the equivalent of “Uhhhh, let’s talk in private later.” So, we shall see…..
